Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Ltd. (EMTS), trading as 9mobile announced today it regrets service disruption at one of its data centre and efforts are underway to resolve it.
This is according to a statement signed by Ibrahim Dikko, Vice President, Regulatory & Corporate Affairs, at 9mobile.
Dikko noted that “9mobile would like to inform the public of a network outage in one of its data centres which resulted in service disruption. We are aware that subscribers may be experiencing some disruption with voice, SMS and data services due to this technical issue. Our technical teams are currently working assiduously to resolve the issue within the shortest possible time. “
He also added that “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused our subscribers and we thank them for their patience and understanding.”
Recall, Telecoms subscribers on the 9mobile network said they have been expressing poor service on the network. The operator has been unable to resolve issues causing very little or no coverage in most parts of Lagos since last Thursday, August 17, 2017, IT NEWS NIGERIA gathered.
